After training, I met up with some friends and had a wild night that ended up in the hot tub.  Those are always fun nights 🙂  This wild night led me to not feel so well on Saturday and even on Sunday! I hate the hangover aspect of alcohol.  Ugh!

I pretty much was a super big bum on Saturday and Sunday but did manage to give the dogs a bath, do laundry & prep some food for this week.

I cooked a ton of chicken and ground turkey to eat this week.

A while back, I was talking about joining a training “team”.  I met with one of the teams last night and it was very interesting.  A group of us girls sat around and talked over some awesome spiked punch and I learned about how the team works.  The team is usually for girls who want to eventually compete, however I’m not sure if I want to do that yet, so I may just join to get in better shape and possibly compete in the future.  I think I’d like to join this team just to have a trainer and a “sisterhood” type of feel with the girls who enjoy what I enjoy.  To start the process, basically the coach would bring me in, I’d show her what I’m working with 😉 ..and then she could write a specific nutrition plan and workout plan for me.  I’d go in to see her every so often to make sure everything is going okay, train with her and also tweak anything in my plan that isn’t working well.  It’s like a personal trainer, however it’s much more specific on my actual body.

I think it’s an interesting concept..I just have to find out the price first!!!

If I were to ever compete (gosh that makes me nervous even thinking about it!), I’d want to do the bikini division rather than figure.  I’ll probably do a post about the difference between figure and bikini because I learned a lot about it last night in my team meeting :).

Have you ever or would you ever do a competition?

It takes such dedication and a commitment to be able to change your lifestyle in order to get on stage.  It would be such a huge accomplishment though to say I did one.  It’s something I can’t imagine myself actually doing, which makes me kind of want to do it 🙂

Before learning more about the competition world, I just pictured huge body builder ladies…but in reality, the bikini division is pretty damn impressive.

Strong is the new black, ladies 🙂
