Crazy 8 Workout

Here is my newest workout.  I like to call it the Crazy 8 Workout! 

I completed this on the treadmill, but you can do this workout on any machine! All you have to do is modify the high and low speeds to your liking.

The low speed on this workout was 4mph.  The high speed was 8mph. 

I set the treadmill to 4mph and walked for a warm up for 3 minutes.

After 3 minutes, I cranked the treadmill up to 8mph and ran at that speed for a minute.  I then turned it back down to 4mph.  This is one cycle that lasted 2 minutes.

You’ll do 20 of these cycles and add another 2 minutes of cool down at the end.  In total, you’ll be on the treadmill for 45 minutes.

Overall, I really enjoyed this workout.  I like doing HIIT training because it keeps my mind busy and I don’t get bored.  If you can find a treadmill that has an Interval Training setting on it, your life will be much easier.  Just set your low and high speed, hit the button every minute and you’re good to go!

This workout kept my heart rate up throughout the whole thing..even when I was walking 🙂 I love HIIT for that reason!
